FEF Performance collects information submitted through this site for evaluating, scheduling, documenting and performing requested vehicle calibration services. This can include customer contact information, vehicle identifiers, build details, calibration history, uploaded files and service preferences.
Submitted website forms, including free-consultation requests, are stored on the hosting account in a non-public directory and may also be summarized in the FEF Performance notification email. Uploaded files remain in protected server storage; the shop email reports the file name and receipt status rather than relying on large email attachments. Information is not intended for sale to advertisers.
The site uses a first-party random browser identifier to estimate visitors and page views. The counter does not store raw IP addresses, full browser user-agent strings or advertising identifiers. Anonymous daily identifiers are removed from the traffic report after 90 days.
The Capability Finder stores anonymous counts for search method, broad make or controller maker, broad service category, result status and unmatched demand. It does not retain VINs, full controller part numbers, names, contact information, raw IP addresses or full user-agent strings in its demand report.
If you select Decode VIN, the VIN is sent from your browser to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration vPIC service to return basic vehicle information. FEF Performance stores the VIN only when you choose to submit the intake form.
An ECU / TCU Calibration Record may be intentionally published through a random direct link used by a module label QR code. That page may show the FEF Job number, a non-identifying vehicle or project description, controller family, calibration/file ID, requested changes, completed changes, validation method, operating guidance and update date. It does not publish customer names, contact details, VINs, raw ECU files, checksums, passwords, internal notes or private storage locations. FEF can disable the public record without deleting the private job file.
Do not submit payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, unrelated account passwords or other unnecessary sensitive personal information through these forms.
Uploaded ECU files and build information should be copies; keep your own original backups.
Customer reviews, vehicle photos, dyno results or project details are only intended for public use when FEF Performance has permission to publish them.
